Introduction

CamPage ("we", "our", or "the App") is a document scanning and PDF creation application. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how CamPage handles your data.

The short version: CamPage processes everything locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data or scanned documents to external servers.

Information We Do NOT Collect

CamPage does not collect, store, or share any of the following:

  • Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
  • Location data
  • Usage analytics or tracking data
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Scanned document content
  • PDF files you create
  • Any form of user account information
  • Device Permissions

CamPage requires the following device permissions to function:

    Camera Access

  • Purpose: To scan physical documents using your device's camera.
  • Usage: Camera access is used exclusively for the in-app document scanning feature. Images captured are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
  • Storage Access (Android)

  • Purpose: To save generated PDF files to your chosen directory on the device.
  • Usage: When you export a PDF, the App requests permission to write to your selected folder via Android's Storage Access Framework. The App only accesses the specific directory you grant permission to.
  • Data Storage

  • All scanned images and generated PDFs are stored locally on your device in the App's cache directory.
  • PDF files you export are saved to the location you choose on your device.
  • No data is stored on external servers, cloud services, or any remote infrastructure.
  • Uninstalling the App will remove all cached data associated with it.
  • Data Processing

  • Document scanning, image processing (compression, resizing), and PDF generation are performed entirely on your device.
  • No internet connection is required to use the core features of CamPage.
  • Your scanned documents and PDFs never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share them using the built-in share functionality.
  • Third-Party Services

CamPage does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data, including:

  • No analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
  • No advertising networks
  • No crash reporting services that transmit personal data
  • No social media SDKs
  • No cloud storage integrations
  • Sharing

When you use the "Share" feature in CamPage, the App utilizes your device's native sharing mechanism (Android Share Sheet or iOS Share Sheet). The data you share is handled by the receiving application according to its own privacy policy. CamPage has no control over data once it leaves the App through the share feature.

    Children's Privacy

CamPage does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App does not collect any personal data from any user, it is inherently compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

    Security

Since all data processing and storage occurs locally on your device, the security of your scanned documents and PDFs is dependent on your device's own security measures (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device secured with a strong password or biometric authentication.

    Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
