This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
We use Your information to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
#### Personal Data
Chirya Urr does not require You to create an email- or password-based account to play the core game. We do not ask for Your email address or phone number.
If You choose to join the Daily Challenge leaderboard or a Family League, You may optionally provide:
These details are used only to show Your score on the leaderboard and are not used for marketing contact.
#### Data Stored on Your Device
To provide game features, the Application stores certain information locally on Your Device using on-device storage (for example, AsyncStorage). This may include:
This information stays on Your Device unless You delete the Application or clear its data. Leaderboard-related information You choose to submit may also be stored on Our backend (see below).
#### Leaderboard and Family League Data
When You opt in to the global Daily Challenge leaderboard or a Family League, We store on Our servers (hosted via Supabase):
Leaderboard participation is optional. You can play endless and daily modes without joining a leaderboard.
#### Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service, including through third-party tools integrated into the Application.
Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, app interaction events (for example, game starts, game overs, and store interactions), ad impressions and interactions, and other diagnostic data.
When You access the Service through a mobile device, We and Our Service Providers may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, and other diagnostic data used to deliver and measure advertising and product analytics.
#### Advertising and In-App Purchases
The Application is supported by advertising and optional in-app purchases:
#### Analytics
We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used (for example, which screens are opened and whether a daily challenge was completed). PostHog may process device and usage information according to [PostHog's Privacy Policy](https://posthog.com/privacy). Analytics events are used to improve the Application and are not sold as a standalone product.
#### Local Notifications
If You enable daily reminders in Settings, the Application schedules local notifications on Your Device to remind You about the Daily Challenge. These reminders are generated on Your Device and do not require a push-notification server. You can turn reminders off at any time in Settings or in Your Device's system notification settings.
#### Sharing Results
The Application lets You share a score or daily result through Your Device's system share sheet (for example, Messages, WhatsApp, social apps, or saving an image). Sharing is entirely optional and initiated by You. We do not access Your photo library or camera to provide this feature; any image is generated locally on Your Device and handed to the share destination You choose.
#### App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS, We may use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework to request Your permission before accessing data from apps and websites owned by other companies for tracking purposes, where required by Apple's policies and applicable law.
If You allow tracking, We and Our advertising partners may use device-level identifiers (such as the Identifier for Advertisers, where available) and related usage information to measure campaign performance, improve user acquisition efforts, and enhance the relevance of marketing activities.
If You do not allow tracking, We will not use ATT-authorized identifiers for cross-app or cross-website tracking. Your choice does not affect core app functionality.
You can change Your ATT permission at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
We may share Your personal information in the following situations:
Game progress and preferences stored on Your Device remain there until You delete the Application or clear its data.
Leaderboard and Family League entries stored on Our servers are retained for as long as needed to operate those features, unless You request deletion or We remove them as part of routine maintenance.
The Company will retain Personal Data received from Service Providers only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Usage Data collected by Service Providers is generally retained according to those providers' policies, except when We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.
Your information, including Personal Data processed by Service Providers, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from Your jurisdiction.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by Your use of the Service represents Your agreement to that transfer.
The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of Your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of Your data and other personal information.
Because most game data is stored locally on Your Device, You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the Application or clearing its stored data in Your Device settings.
If You have joined a leaderboard or Family League and want Your nickname, scores, or group membership removed from Our servers, You may contact Us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of that information.
Please note, however, that We may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.
#### Business Transactions
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
#### Law enforcement
Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
#### Other legal requirements
The Company may disclose Your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
